Warship & Lifeboat Display at TANKMOD 2017

Club members David and Andrea Reith, Graham and Penny Coombs, and David McNair-Taylor, plus two guest members of the Surface Warship Association put on a display of Lifeboats and warships for the Tank Museum TANKMOD show on Saturday 7th October. The show was mainly dedicated to members of the International Plastic Modellers’ Society with their model displays as well as larger models being provided by ourselves, the Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team (PMBDT) and a couple of other Model Boat Clubs.

This was the second event at the Tank Museum this year having taken over from the discontinued Fleet Air Arm Museum Shows at Yeovil. They have been very successful and next year will comprise a couple of 2 day events being arranged.
