IOM Winter Race 04: 24th Dec 2019

Tuesday started well, I arrived to the forecast strong breeze and sunshine, it was all looking good. We all set up our B rigs and then the wind dropped off dramatically apart from a few over the top squalls that sent the boats involuntarily broaching and nose diving. To make matters worse, it then started raining – definitely not to plan.
The racing, however, was close with lots of place changing. Congrats to John T for coming out on top.
