Pond Frozen over (12th Dec)

John Martin took this photo of the pond at around dawn today (12th December 2017). It was freezing cold, the pond is covered with ice, and IOM racing is cancelled for the day! The ice was not thick, with the rising temperatures and forecast wind, it may well be ok for tomorrow’s 6M sailing.
