Funeral for Harold Hartigan

Funeral details: We have been informed that the funeral for Harold Hartigan will be on 16th July at 1.30pm at Bournemouth crematorium and afterwards at Amberwood pub.

In Memoriam: It is with much regret that I have been informed that member Harold Hartigan passed away on Saturday, 30th June. Harold during the war served in the RAF as a pilot on many type of aircraft, doing his initial training in Canada.  Harold and his wife Sheila enjoyed sailing having owned full size sailing craft.

In his later years Harold enjoyed model making in many forms, producing some excellent models, especially his square riggers.  To be in Harold’s company was a pleasure at all times, a cheerful, positive and helpful member of our club, he will be sorely missed by all.  Our sympathy goes out to his family at this sad time.
