David’s Comments: “The model is based on the HFM Marine Kit ( no longer available). A wooden planked deck has been fitted and the sails made from an old cotton pillow case dyed tan and sewn up using my grandmas old sewing machine. They look far more realistic than the modern material supplied in the kit.”
