Jobbo’s Memorial Trophy

The Jobbo’s Memorial Trophy was donated to commemorate Dick’s life and his achievement within the club following his sad death in 2019.

Dick was a larger than life character and top performer in many dinghy classes, including Contenders, 505s and Fireballs. Dick was noted for having a tot of rum at “coffee break”, not sure how this affected his following result, and wanting to finish the day with a final race “round the cans”.
