IOM Summer Race 11, 16th Aug 2022

Sorry for the delay in the results, have taken time drying out from sailing this morning. The morning started with a cloud burst of torrential rain at 10 , though it was relatively warm when we started the first race. This led to skippers wearing a variety of clothing from shorts and T shirts to full wet weather gear for crossing the Atlantic. Both were subsequently proved effective since we had both sunny intervals and further cloud bursts.
Though we had an easterly forecast, we had a relatively, for Setley, stable northerly which gave some good competitive racing. Robin suffered from using up all his luck last week, and his mantle was taken over by John B who achieved 4 bullets to win the day, followed by John M and Martin in 2nd and 3rd places
