It is with great sadness to inform you that our member Allan Read has passed away in hospital, the club was advised by his son.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

He was an excellent craftsman, his model boats were outstanding, his square riggers were perfect, so much so he was reluctant at times to put them in the water. Allan’s son Greg is now keen to identify any Club Members who would be interested in owning one of Allan’s beautiful models.
