IOM Summer Race 10: 06 Aug 2024

A bit wet when we arrived this morning, but with a promise from the weather forecast it would clear up by 10. The rain did ease off and clear later in the morning, however the moderate northerly that looked very good when we put our boats on the water also slowly died to virtually nothing and became very unstable by the end of the morning.

Racing was very tight with only a few points covering the fleet. Congrats to Hugh, who made the best of the conditions to win counting 2 race wins from the 6 sailed, followed by John M and John B in 2nd and 3rd.
