IOM Winter Race 8 : 21 January 2025

A beautiful day at Setley today with a light breeze from the South East and occasionally the North East and all points in between. A relatively short course was set starting at 5 7, then 2, 1, 7, two laps and finish 8. 9. Seven boats competed with some very close tussles, boats going from the back of the fleet to the front and vica versa. I had to check the results twice as they didn’t seem to match the state of play. So here we go, First place with three wins, John Martin, Second place  with four wins, Nigel Burt and Third place with Two wins Hugh Bates. I look forward to seeing you all next week and just a reminder that in two weeks time, 4th February we will be competing for the Fijicicle Trophy and I’m hoping for a good turnout as always.
