IOM Winter Race 9 : 28 January 2025

He who hesitates, I’ll say no more. Eight boats were out today in a good fresh breeze predominantly from the south west. Course A was set and despite the fresh breeze there were lulls enabling boats at the back of the fleet to catch up and overtake with some good close racing. The clear winner today with 5 first places was John Tufnall; second was Hugh Bates with 3 wins and third John Martin with 2 seconds, well done everyone. Next week we will be competing for the Fijicicle Cup and it would be good to have the same turn out, I look forward to seeing you all then.
