Bob Eaton

I am writing to inform you of a members passing, I was informed by his wife Dinah today.

Her email to me is copied below in case any member would like to attend, if not the service is being live streamed.

Bob was a regular down at the pond, his models were brilliant, he and his wife DInah always attended the Christmas lunch and any event they could,  especially the exhibitions.

Our thoughts go out to his family and friends, he will be missed by all who knew him.

I am getting in touch to let you know that my husband Bob, as recently died. As the Model Boat Club was such an important part of his life, I wanted to share with you so the news and the funeral arrangements can be passed on the group.

Thanksgiving service to celebrate Bob’s life on Thursday 27 February at 11am, Bierton Crematorium, Cane End Lane, Bierton, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP22 5BH; followed by a gathering and buffet lunch between 12pm and 4pm at The Barn, Hulcott Lane, Hulcott, Bierton, Aylesbury HP22 5GA.

We do hope you may be able to join us as we remember Bob and celebrate his life. Please let me know if you plan to come to the gathering afterwards.

Brockenhurst Service: It is the family’s intention that Bob’s ashes will be interred in the Garden of Remembrance at St Saviour’s Church in Brockenhurst in the Summer. I can let you know details about this if you wish to know more.
