IOM Winter Race 13 : 25th February 2025

There were seven boats on the water today sailing in a force 3 from the NW. A course was set with a start at 4 9, 6, 3, 9, 4, (2  Laps) and finish between 5 and a tree on the East Bank. The runs from 6 to 3 were straightforward but the beats from 3 to 9 not so and boats changed significant places during this leg.The wind was fairly constant throughout and nine races were completed. Three Johns on the podium today, 1st place John Martin, 2nd place John Bennett and 3rd place John Tufnell, well done to all. The overall winner of the IOM Winter Series Cup goes to Hugh, well done for an excellent series result. I look forward to seeing you all next when it all starts again for race 1 of the Spring Series.
