Project: HMS Harlech Castle

Club member John Edwards suggests “this looks like a nice project for one of our members to take on?” …

Andy Sweet writes:

“My friend was a ship’s Master and during various world wide voyages started a 1/96 scale model of the Castle Class Corvette HMS Harlech Castle. Sadly illness prevented model completion.  This incomplete project comprises a hull and basic superstructure with two sets of plans.  The hull is soundly built probably requiring a light sanding and paint respray to produce a good start for detailing. There is a motor but no RC gear.  It is free for anyone interested.  Please see photos.”
