6M Summer Race 12, 17th August 2022

6MIt was dry, and there was a fairly steady Northerly breeze which promised some competitive racing.

Five skippers enjoyed some close racing with mark 6 being the windward mark and the downwind leg being from 6 to 3. This leg provided a chance for boats behind to catch then leaders.

Eleven races were achieved with some quite close tussles especially approaching the finish line when wind shifts could prove frustrating.

Robin and Mike Redfern each won 3 races, Mike having the knack of find his own bit of the pond with some wind in it, but overall JT won the day with 4 wins.

A good morning’s racing.
