Ray Hellicar

It is with very great sadness we have to inform members of the passing of our Club member Ray Hellicar on the  afternoon of Thursday 1st June 2023.

He was a prolific modeller with an impressive range of both Military and Civilian models.  His boat building was brilliant and electronics were excellent, always ready to help members with what ever the problem they had no matter how small or big, he helped us numerous times with advice and showing us how to improve our boats.

He was always there to help the club when able at Exhibition’s,  came to Christmas Lunches with his wife Carol and the events at the pond, even held barbeques for the club in his garden.

There will be a private funeral for him with only family present.

Our thoughts go out to Carol, his family and friends, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
