Sunday at the Pond!

Three photos from Sunday, 13th August 2023, at Setley Pond. The first – see below, click to enlarge – is Lorna and Andy’s MTB. The Tug Yarra was a new model and a new Member who joined on the day. Yarra is an Australian Harbour Tug and I’m told that the Yarra River in Melbourne is known as the “river that flows upside-down” because of the brown colour of the water which is caused by the local, clay soil!  The third is one of my Folkboats powering down wind (it was blowing quite hard), and being sailed by another new Member.

We had three new Members join on Sunday, must be a record?
