IOM Summer Race 7 : 16 July 2024

Another interesting day at the pond today. Having got cold and soaked last week, with a wet forecast I dressed up to stay warm and dry. By the end of the day I was back to shorts and T shirt – the cold and wet had stayed away.

The wind wasn’t much better, it was light and very variable with occasional broaching gusts. Very strange, it was possible to lose half a leg lead, John B managed this in race 1 letting Graham through on the line. Other skippers achieved it in other races.

Congrats to Hugh for maintaining a sort of consistency until the last two races to win the day with John m second and John B third.
