Knightwood School Fete

On Saturday 12th June 2010 David McNair-Taylor set up a small display at Knightwood School Summer Fete in Chandlers Ford in support of their “Transport” theme. The models were the Type 23 Frigate “HMS Lancaster”, Salvage Tug “Yorkshireman”, Thames Barge “Lucy”, Luxury Cruiser “Carmen”, Container Ship “Sydney Star”, and the Arun Lifeboat “BP Forties”. The exhibit caused a lot of interest and the collection box on the display took £20 in aid of the RNLI. David handed out publicity on the club in the form of leaflets and visiting cards. The Fete ran from 11am to 2pm.
