IOM Spring Race 08, 23rd Apr 2024

Pretty good conditions today, a light northerly that increased during the morning to give the boats a few nosedives and broaches.
We started with seven boats and ended the final race, race 13!, with 4. Another 3 races and we could have got a third discard, not that it would have helped me much! Somehow I felt I lacked brain and luck today.
The racing was close with 4 different skippers winning the first 4 races. Congrats to John T for winning the day , edging John B and Hugh into second and third.
