IOM Summer Race 07: 16th July 2019

A light southerly promised good sailing today. However I found it a little trying, locating many of the random dead spots on the lake, and in race 4 collecting a crisp wrapper on the keel – not fast!! Life did look up for me after the break where Nigel tuned up my rig.

Others found the conditions more to their liking with with John T, John Ben and Peter consistently at the front of the fleet, with me just getting the better of Nigel and Stan on a three way tie break for forth.

Good to see Simon on the water, hope to see more of you and congratulations to John T for winning the day.
