IOM Autumn Race 11: 12th Nov 2019

I think today could be best described as challenging, John Bradshaw got it right – he arrived first thing, took one look at the weather and went home!!
The wind, a moderate westerly was all over the place, there were times where two adjacent boats, one would be broaching or nose diving while the other was becalmed. Hugh came second overall managing to be consistent throughout discarding a 3rd and a 4th, John T won but managed a 9th in one race while third place John B scored a 9th and a 10th in the first two races,
Aside from the racing, welcome back Gordon it is good to have you competing in the IOM again, fingers crossed for some better conditions next week.
