IOM Spring Race 3, 11th May 2021

Setley does get much better than today, a brisk southerly relatively steady (for Setley) breeze at the top of range of the A rigs and sunshine. Wonderful!!
Thanks to Nigel and Hugh for sorting the marks. We used 3, which had been brought in a little closer – even so I kept well clear of it while rounding it,  and 1 which had been moved away from the doldrums under the trees. We also used the newly sited 2 for finishing.
Apart from one or two boats getting clear at the end of the first beat, racing was tight with a number of place changes. There were four separate race winners, John T, John M, John Be and Martin. Congrats to John T for winning the day, JUST!
