IOM Summer Race 8, 20th July 2021

What a day, we arrived to find no wind and magnificent sunshine. All 10 of us rigged optimistically and were rewarded when a gentle southerly greeted us for the first start. We sailed a short course, the major catastrophe being the hot weather had melted the chino-graph scoring pencil, good for me – though John Be quickly improvised to record his first of many race wins.

John Be shared his race wins with Hugh (2), Martin and John M. It was good to see Alan and Phil recording second places.
