IOM Summer Race 9, 27th July 2021

We had good racing today in a very patchy southerly breeze, Hugh stepped up to fill the absent John Be’s shoes by taking 6 wins out of the 10 races. In addition he scored 3 2nd and a lowly 3rd. These lesser results did allow John T, John M and Peter (2) to also record wins.

After 8 races the wind filled in and it bucketed with rain. I voted with my feet and raced to the protection of the car, perhaps I am getting soft in my old age!!

Anyway, well done Hugh for such an emphatic set of results.
