IOM Summer Race 10, 3rd Aug 2021

Bit of a slow day today, though, did have its eventful moments.

Phil got tangled in the water lilies, unfortunate, first time I’ve noticed them this year on the east shore. Mr consistent, Hugh, came a valiant last in one race. The sun shone and it didn’t rain, sadly we had little to no wind either.

On the positive side we completed six races, one of them taking about half an hour when the wind totally disappeared. I was tempted to abandon after 5 races at midday, but the will of the skippers was to continue and sail the sixth, just as well, since I won it!

Other race winners were Robin and Hugh, congrats to Hugh for winning the day – managing to discard his last place.
