IOM Winter Race 08, 25th Jan 2022

Wonderful today, arrived at the pond and there were ripples, not made by passing dogs and horses, but wind ripples!!!!
Andy took full advantage, first at the first mark and extended his lead all the way to the finish. After this the wind moderated a little and became a little shifty giving randomly good both port and starboard shifts to the windward mark – very difficult to find the best route.. We still managed to get nine races in with John M (4), Hugh (2), John B and Robbin sharing the remaining wins.
