IOM Spring 2022 Race 01
A good day for sailing today with a relatively stable north noreast breeze. Pity about the light rain, but you can’t have everything.
I was pleased, I managed to remember to bring the starter box I was trusted with after 95 racing on Friday. Unfortunately it did not work, apparently I should have turned it off so it failed to work for the first race. Don’t think I will be trusted again! Fortunately John B saved the day by charging it from his car. I suppose it is fair that JB went on to beat me on count back.
Robin, who was reluctant to sail in the rain, had a most impressive day winning with a very consistent 2 firsts and 4 seconds. The rest of us were much less consistent, wins were shared by John T (3), John B(2), Andy(2) and John M.
