IOM Summer Race 05, 5th July 2022

Results time again, I was tempted to drive over and shatter the results board on the way home, though John B advised he had photographed them “just in case!!. Not surprising really, he and Robin sussed the light northerly, finishing well clear of the rest of the fleet. I even tried following Robin down the run and he still sailed away from me. I did though successfully take on John T’s bad luck at mark 3, managing to hit it, miss it entirely and touch other boats numerous times while attempting to round it. Hopefully I have used up my bad luck for the year in one day.
Well done to John B to win the day from Robin, both on ten points, the tie being split with John B winning the last race.
