IOM Summer Race 10, 9th Aug 2022

Firstly, welcome return for Peter – great to see his boat on the water and also good the see Martin H has a new boat that he is tuning up.
Secondly, the sailing. If your name is Robin, the day was great, he managed to seek out the gentle zephyrs spread randomly round the pond while the rest of us were sitting in “nil wind” or down drafts where the sails flapped whichever direction the boat pointed. Having said that, I did get one random piece of luck where a breeze singled me out and propelled me running at speed up the last beat, going from 2nd to last to 2nd. Still didn’t beat Robin!
Well sailed to John B and John T for securing 2nd and 3rd.
