IOM Spring 2023 Race 01
My forecast was pretty good. The northerly breeze, though fairly shifty, was good for Setley and the day would have been great without the persistent gentle rain and the cool temperature. Can’t have everything!
Eight of us made it to the start, though Phil conceded at the break, being wet and cold – the only sensible one amongst us! Hugh started up where he left off from the previous series, though only managing to win 4 of the 9 races. Other race winners were John M 2, Martin 2 and Robin.
Congrats to Hugh for winning the Jack Fry Trophy.
