IOM Spring 2023 Race 02
Wonderful morning at the pond today. A good northerly breeze and the return of Alan, it is good to get his “humour” back on the side of the pond!
We had sunshine, a little rain, the wind at times turned up the heat making the boats pirouette, and show a little rudder but there were very few dead spots where you could sit and wait while others planed up behind. We even managed to get in 12 races.
Congrats to John B who was most consistent, winning three and getting a bucket load of seconds, John M, Martin, Hugh, John T and Nigel also won races though they all had to count some pretty poor results in final scores.
