IOM Spring Race 04, 28th Mar 2023

With a wet and windy forecast, just 5 of us made it to the pond this morning. The forecast was correct when we arrived, we debated which rig and after John M and Hugh did a test sail, we all used the A rig.
The wind was generally a strong southerly with big shifts, the rain did ease off and sailing was good. The A rig was largely the correct rig, however every now and again we were wiped out with the occasional gust.
We had 4 different winners for the first 4 races, however John B took control winning th day.
