IOM Spring Race 08, 2nd May 2023

Firstly, welcome to Graham who has just joined with his first IOM and put in a very creditable performance for his first model yacht race in very difficult conditions.
The easterly breeze blew both north and south on occasions as well as providing a full complement of windless dead spots. I seem to have spent much of my time in a number of those.
Congats to John T who managed to navigate his was through the doldrums to win 5 of the races and the day and be well clear of John B and Robin in 2nd and 3rd place,
