IOM Summer Race 13, 29 Aug 2023

Another fine day at the pond today. Cloudy, but no rain and a gentle variable breeze that seemed to bypass my boat.

Martin started the day well, though had an issue with buoy 6, Robin managed to find the various wind spots around the pond and recorded 4 firsts. Hugh sailed consistently well and could have won the day but decided to attach his boat to buoy 9 in the last race to give that honour to Robin.

This was the last race of the Summer Series – not sure what has happened to summer, perhaps we will get an Indian Summer this autumn. There were a couple of points covering the top four places with Hugh just doing sufficient to win with John B second and John T third.
