Another interesting day at Setley. Looking at the forecast of 30 knots by lunchtime I packed my B rig for “just in  case”, having erred by only packing a B rig in a marginally lesser forecast last Friday.
The wind was largely northeasterly but at times it blew different strengths in differing directions. A nightmare for those wanting consistent results. It was a day when the leader on the run could sit in a flat calm while the fleet planed past, very frustrating, yet the same skippers seemed to get most of the luck, perhaps they are just good sailors!
Well done to Hugh for winning the day from Johns B and T.
