IOM Winter Race 10, Fijicle Trophy
Firstly I must thank John T for standing in again and running the sailing again. This is the third week in a row, hopefully the sun will come out next week and I can go sailing!!!
John has written a report. Me being locked up relates to me accompanying my daughter to court this morning, all went well.
“In case they haven’t locked you up, I enclose the results from this very wet morning. However the wind played ball with a SSE breeze near the top end of A rig strength.
Good racing with JB finding a good setup after the coffee break.
NFDC or FE were in attendance having yet another go at repairing the access road, but again having problems with it being so wet. They were very accommodating to us allowing access and apart from having to reposition our cars at coffee break didn’t impact us at all.”
Well sailed John B for winning the day and the Fijicycle Trophy. It is my favourite trophy, it is wood and doesn’t need polishing. So I trust he will not get too attached to it and let me win it again next year.
